Here at Bums, everything revolves around really good food - and it comes straight from our James Farm. No fast food, no compromises, but products that are created with heart and a lot of craftsmanship in sustainable agriculture. We focus on quality, not quantity, and you can tell with every bite.
At our James Farm, it's about quality, not quantity. The philosophy is based on respect and sustainability. The animals have space, fresh air and only get the best feed from the farm. Our pigs, including Husum protest pigs, Durocs and woolly pigs, enjoy their life on straw, have access to the outdoors and grow up completely stress-free. Rotbunten DN dairy cows provide us with milk that tastes like real, fresh milk, and the German Angus cattle enjoy grazing - without any long journeys or industrial breeding programmes. Pasture-raised chickens lay eggs with character and scratch across the meadows all day long. There are bees and goats too, of course - a real farm is about more than just fields and barns.
But it's not just the farming that's top notch - the processing is too. Respectful work is carried out in the farm's own abattoir, the cheese dairy makes great specialities from fresh milk and the vegetables are of the best quality, from crisp salads to aromatic pumpkins. No long delivery routes, no artificial additives - simply pure, unadulterated quality.
