Full speed ahead for strong training: Jennifer is now DEHOGA training officer for Ostholstein

It's a well-known fact that the Bretterbude is not only characterised by a breath of fresh air from the coast - but also by fresh ideas when it comes to training and promoting young talent. And right in the middle of it all: our deputy director Jennifer Volpp, who is now also involved as training officer for the DEHOGA Ostholstein district association. In plain language: Jennifer is now officially responsible for everything to do with good training - from A for contact person for trainees to Z for shaping the future.

And that's not just any title, it's a really important number: because training only works if someone is there to hold the place together, empower the young people, answer questions and network the training companies with each other. This is exactly what she does now - with heart, mind and lots of practical experience from everyday hotel life.

Her first project is a big one: she is planning the graduation ceremony for the catering trainees in Ostholstein - a real milestone for all those who have mastered their training. And as if that wasn't enough, she was directly involved in the meeting of the state committee for vocational training. It was all about digital learning environments - in other words, how training can become even better, more flexible and more digital in the future. A topic that is also more than relevant for us at Bretterbude. After all, we don't just want to stand out with cool furnishings, but also with modern training concepts.

Why do we think it's great that Jennifer is so involved? Quite simply because good training is not a sure-fire success. It needs people who think for themselves, who listen, who bring in new ideas - and who never lose the fun in the process. With a clear attitude, lots of experience and her heart in the right place, she brings fresh impetus to the training scene and shows that a career in the hotel industry is anything but boring.

We are extremely proud to have such a powerful woman on board. And we are sure that not only the trainees in the district benefit from her commitment, but also we as a training organisation - and the entire industry.

So: Hats off - and full speed ahead!
